From the very moment we started planning with Megan and Phil, we knew their wedding should be the epitome of Southern elegance- just like them! Her delicate Monique Lhuillier dress set the tone for the design: soft, feminine, and custom. We incorporated light colors, fluffy flowers, custom calligraphy monograms, ceiling drapes and chandeliers to bring their wedding to life!
Wedding day started at the bride’s family home in Uptown New Orleans where the bride and her girls got ready for the day. Then Audubon Park offered a picturesque setting for Megan and Phil’s first look and bridal party photos before we travelled to their wedding venue downtown. The Gallery offered a great setting for the ceremony and reception as their exposed bricks, beams, and gas lanterns were accents to our romantic design. They said “I do” in front of a wall of candles and flowers, then danced their first dance as husband and wife under a twinkling chandelier, and while gentlemen smoked cigars on the patio the group circled around the bride and groom with traditional greek dancing! But that wasn’t the last of the fun! The couple surprised their guests with a New Orleans second line through the streets to end their perfect day! A truly Southern soiree!
