It was the start of the pandemic and this sweet couple was forced to pivot from a destination wedding in Ireland, to a wedding right in their back yard… literally! The guests were greeted with the melodic tunes of a bag piper, and shots of scotch and whiskey in etched glasses from their favorite castle in Ireland, Skibo Castle. After their cozy indoor vows, the guests dined over a five course meal, where we brought all the Irish charm home to this intimate dinner, hoping that it felt like a fancy dinner party at a castle! We hung the chandeliers down low, and added tall candelabras to meet in between. There was a wall of twinkling lights running the whole length of the table! Embroidered napkins and tree trunk chargers added some organic elegance. This intimate dinner was truly reminiscent of Ireland’s Skibo Castle experience!
The guests were wined and dined and transported to Ireland, and we hope you are too!!
I was so happy with how the paper, the photos, and the dinner decor just tied together the magical forest feels! The goal was really to bring the outside into the event!
