A tent with naturally growing greens up every pole, thousands of hanging candles from the lushness, custom wood and gold metal walls to finish off the setting! And this is only ONE of the two tents! This tented wedding was one to remember and this couple, the band, and the fun guest’s energy embodied this design! Scroll through to follow the journey through Kristen + Chase’s magical Winter wedding day!
It would be hard to not have a great time in this setting, amiright?!
Always one of my favorite parts of the day- adding the veil as the ensemble’s finishing touch!
K+C chose not to do a first look, but not having a first look didn’t mean that they had to forego ALL pre-ceremony photos! They still got to take a few pictures “together” without seeing each other by utilizing this French Quarter balcony at Melrose Mansion!
Another favorite moment and a big deep breath right before the doors open and the Bride and her father and walk towards her forever!
Guests arrived to the draped cocktail hour tent and were greeted by this champagne wall! Each glass was topped with a raspberry to add the berry color and coordinate with the cake!
To connect the decor between the cocktail hour tent below and the reception tent (very first photo in this post), we added naturally growing greens to each of the chandeliers to give even this more polished tent a garden feel! Keeping all of the furniture and bars wooden also helped to bring the outside in!
The Groom opted for an assortment of his favorite cheesecakes as his Groom’s Cake(s)!
While the cocktail tent held most of the floral moments, the decor drama continued into the reception tent! Wooden touches and lush greens kept it cohesive, but we added many more candles and custom touches in the reception tent!
In my mind, the decor of the stage should have a BIG presence and become a focal point in the space! It’s in the backdrop of almost every reception shot, first dance photos, and something the guests look towards all night long!
Make it worth watching!
We also offered a few breakaway lounges for guests to rest their dancing feet, but still watch all the fun happening in the party!
Tented wedding magic right here! All of your favorite people under one magical structure where you chose each and every detail to personify your style and personalities! #happyplanner
Boozy cafe au laits are always a good idea to revive the crowd for the second set!
